MSNBC kills their top rated prime time show

I'm shocked that Olbermann's show was cancelled by MSNBC so suddenly and without any kind of warning or wind down. My immediate reaction is to wonder if there's another shoe that might drop or any evidence of some serious wrongdoing by Olbermann that's about to surface. It's really surprising considering that Countdown is MSNBC's top rated prime time show, based on yesterday's ratings:

I'm sure we'll be hearing all about what happened in the coming days. It's worth noting that the Comcast-NBC merger was approved yesterday, so that might be a lead worth following up on.

The Right in America is sticking EXACTLY to the Nazi playbook, firstly, by using the 'Misdirection Play' to identify a scapegoat 'enemy'; and secondly: Joseph Goebbels would be proud of their use of 'The Lie, which goes like this: Formulate 'The Lie'. Make sure that it is memorized verbatim by those who are to disseminate it. Coordinate the content of 'The Lie', and its dissemination. And repeat it. Repeat "The Lie', over and over, in a coordinated, simultaneous flooding of every form of media. Repeat, coordinate, and re-confirm 'The Lie' enough times over, and eventually, it will be viewed by millions as 'The Truth'. "It must be true. EVERYbody says it is."
Listen very carefully to Glenn Beck, America. Everything he says is absolutely accurate and true. If viewed in reverse. Figure that one out, and it might not be too late to stop 'The Lie' from destroying our Republic.
